Fernox F4 Leak Sealer – 56603

Description

Fernox F4 Central Heating Leak Sealer 500ml – 56603

Product Description

Fernox F4 Leak Sealer is an internal leak-sealing treatment designed to seal small, inaccessible leaks and weeps within domestic central heating systems. It helps reduce pressure loss in sealed systems and can help address minor leaks without requiring a complete system drain-down.

Once added to the heating system, the formula circulates with the system water and forms a polymer seal at suitable leak points. It typically becomes effective within 1–24 hours, helping restore system performance while protecting vulnerable components.

Suitable for compatible central heating and underfloor heating systems, Fernox F4 is designed to remain in the system permanently after application.

Key Features

Application Information

Fernox F4 is suitable for compatible open-vented and sealed central heating systems.

– Open-vented systems: Can be introduced through the feed and expansion tank in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
– Sealed systems: Add through a suitable dosing point, such as a compatible towel rail connection or in-line system filter, or use an appropriate dosing vessel.
– Underfloor heating: Follow the manufacturer’s dosage and application instructions for the system.

One 500ml bottle treats up to 130 litres of system water. Ensure the product is distributed evenly throughout the system and follow the instructions on the bottle and current product datasheet.

Important Information

Fernox F4 is intended for internal leaks within central heating systems. It is not designed to repair external leaks from exposed pipes or fittings; a suitable external leak-sealing product should be used for those applications.

For single-feed indirect cylinders, such as Primatic-type systems, only chemicals approved for potable water systems should be used.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.
